Question:
My girlfriend has the Special Edition Beauty and the Beast and when she plays it on her Pioneer DV340 the menu seems to skip and jitter, although the features and movie play fine. On my Panny RV60 though it works fine...has anyone else experienced this problem? Is it a Pioneer compatibility issue?

I have a region 1 Beauty and the beast which works fine on my pioneer 444. Other friends have borrowed it and played it on lots of different bits of kit without any problems. Incedently, my last player had a habbit of skipping on menus (Wharfedale M5) which i returned to tescos

no probs with my copy of - Beauty and the Beast Special Edition R1 on my pioneer 530, or sony 700
This is the Region 2 disc btw. None of her other discs skip, she has Region 4 and 1 discs too which all play fine.
