So, what's the difference between these two PJs? I am SOOO close to taking the plunge and buying an AE100 from Komplett, but don't want to buy something I might not be happy with...

Didn't look at the AE100 but I think that the Z1 has better resolution and contrast plus there are reliability issues with the AE100 (IIRC, a poll on the AV Forums showed 30% of owners had a warranty claim). The AE100 is cheaper though. Visit www.avforums.com for more information and/or, better still, get a demo of both.
