Question:
Im upgrading my home cinema kit form my current Sony DAVS300 to seperates, but im getting confused on the terminology.
can someone explain the difference and what relation the amp is to a receiver/processor?

Receiver = Amp+On board processor (+ normally tuner)
Processor = Processor (ie just decodes the information such as DD, DTS, etc) but you still need amps to power your speakers (unless you buy powered speakers which aren't too common)

I just got me Panasonic RV60 with onboard dts decoding, I still need a reciever for the speakers right? Can someone reccommend any decent ones for a good price?
