Question:
preferably 32"
need it to have 3 scarts one of which must be S Video enabled and one of the others preferably RGB
Not fussed on pro logic etc as all sound will be handled by the amp anyway
not bothered which make, but generaly fond of Sony, and was quite impressed by panasonic when I looked in comet 10 minutes ago, but stay away from the likes of Beko etc......also, not particularly fond of Toshiba's
ideas people
oh, and preferably a bargain
ok.....about to buy a PANASONIC TX32PL4C1 unless anyone tells me they bite or there's something better for the money
I'm going to get this exact same tv in the next few days so I hope we've both made a good choice.
AFAIK it only has 2 scarts, I looked around the back in Comet's to check.
What cables are you using for the speakers?
Had a bad experience with a panasonic TV, the tube blew just after the warranty expired, and panasonic werent interested :oh-hum: so i bought a Sony, not had any problems with that :)

I'm not, not fussed on the pro logic aspect of it as it's going to be connected to the amp for all sound, otherwise I'm going to end up with 11 speakers in a realtively small room for just the audio visual sound, let alone the hi fi....may plug in the centre though, but that's it.
oh, Nana, I hope you know this is in store and online with comet for £699 which is the cheapest I could find for it
I also had a look at the 2 scarts round the back and for now, that's ok for me, one is s video enabled, the other is rgb enabled
ended up with a Sony KV32LS60   I won't make you all sick and tell you how much I paid for it
Oh, go on, you know you want to. ;) :D
If you don't mind me asking, what changed your mind about the Panny? Thanks for the Comet advice btw.
nothing...still a good set as far as I'm aware, I just couldn't find anyone with one in stock and I found the KV32LS60 at too good a price to pass up
