Question:
Section 3c in the Home Audio chapter of the female rule book states that if a home audio system is to be purchased there will be no speakers attached to walls because of asthetics (And her not wanting anything spoiling her precious wall light arrangement).
Anyway, after much discussion we have come to the agreement that i cant put any speakers on the wall but may have them on stands. So i need suggestions on what stands i can get for a philips mx980 speaker set. Ideally id like them to be as cheap as pos and i dont care what they look like as long as they are silver

Tell her that you live there too and as with most men you let her have the house as she likes, so, you don`t see why you can`t have the odd thing as you like. This works with my wife and we`re still together after 36yrs, Oh the bliss!.
I bet that most women's clothes add upto to more in total cost than a decent sounding home cinema setup, and even the building work to hide everything away to keep her happy!
My B&W VM1's are wall-mounted - and compared to the 601's and stands I had before, Mrs Radiohead is well chuffed.
