Question:
Should hopefully be receiving a nice Digitheatre DTS thanks to post in bargain forum.
What i would like to know is what cables i will require to hook it up to my Tosh 28" widescreen, Pioneer Dv444, Sky Digibox and my Ps2.
Any advice appreciated
Thanks
Any help at all
Probably just a digital interconnect i dont have a digi theatre so i dont know what connectors it has, probably an optical will be your cheapest option.
I use an optical cable for my ps2 and coaxial for my pioneer dvd player, that way i can have em both connected at the same time and just need to use the digitheatre remote to change to and throw. only other cables it accepts it the stereo (red/white) cables.
AFAIK the system comes with a set of phono leads and a digital/coaxical lead.
Connect the DVD player to the Digitheatre with the Digital lead for DD/DTS surround and select the digital input from the main unit and the way i get surround from my TV is by connecting the phono's to the red/white outputs on the front of my TV to the Digitheatre and listen via the analogue input.
I've recently just bought an optical lead for my PS2 so i use that via the optical link. Keeps everything seperate and easy to use.
Hope that made sense been drinking.
Thanks guys.
Just the info i was looking for
