Question:
I want to link my Yamaha YST-MS25 subwoofer to my hifi for use as a small sub till i can buy a proper one.
How am i going to do this and actually achieve something?
The main problem being the the volume control and power control is built into the Right satelite speaker,any ideas folks??
I thought about leaving the left speaker out and wire the .1 phono socket to the left connection on the sub so only bass is to be heard and nothing out of the right speaker.
I hope someone can help me!!!
What hifi are you using? And is the sub mentioned a passive or active speaker? Without looking up it looks like it could be passive by the info you have provided.

anyhow dont worry i got it sorted.
Not a brilliant improvement but definately noticable at low volumes.
