A mate has just got a denon dvd player which states its locked to region2 does this mean it cant be chipped or modded to be mulit region??



Which player is it?
Have a look at the bottom of this page at the dvd chips ad.



I think its called the dvd200 but i cant be sure! il check out the banner :thumbs:

I think the Denon DVD-200 needs a hardware modification.
I couldn't find anything at the usual sources :( or at DVDChips (http://www.shoyle.f9.co.uk/dvdchipsuk/) but you could email steve@dvdchips.co.uk and ask him. If anyone knows about how to make this multiregion it should be him.
