Question:
So I've had my Panny 36PF10 TV for nearly 5 years now and love it to bits, but tonight when I turned it on, I find a big black band running vertically just off the right of centre of the screen.
Not only that, but what should be the left hand edge of the picture is actually over on the right handside, next to the black band and the rest of the picture starts in the middle of the screen and runs off to the left hand side, losing the middle part. It's the same story across all of the channels and AV selections.
I've got a service manual and have tried the horizontal settings, but to no avail. I've also tried the factory reset - but again, no joy....... so is this the dreaded 'tube' gone - or is there a reasonable fix available for this sort of thing... I really didn't want to have to buy another TV just yet.....:(
Mine came with a five years warranty - I thought they all did - check with your retailer sharpish is my advice.
