Finally my order for the Pioneer DCS303 from Upgrade Heaven arrives tomorrow! :clap: :clap:
Thing is, and I know I'll sound stupid, I don't know what to expect when I open the box. What will be included? Will I need to nip to Richer sounds for speaker cables and what about how to link it to my tv. I understand it has S-VHS and composite out, will I get any sort of lead?
Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks fellas and Merry Xmas.
According to Pioneer:
For the utmost in installation ease and simple set-up, Pioneer has incorporated colour co-ordinated speaker cables and terminals.
So it sounds like you won't need speaker cables
Hifistore include an IXOSS-Video/2 phono to Scart cable in their pack ( http://www.hifistore.co.uk/product.php?qsProd=DCS303&S=6aa4eca3541d76f8a24dd56889acaea6 ) so this suggests that it doesn't come with a supplied video/audio cable as standard.
Best bet is to email Justin on justin@upgradeheaven.co.uk to confirm details
You will get speaker cable and what not, but its only good for the bin, its worth investing in a set of good quality interconnects especially speaker cable as it can increase quality by loads, What home cinema magasine reckon you should put aside 10% of your budget for interconnects.
i have a dcs 303 mate . great system :thumbs: you don't need speaker cable , they give you plenty . you will need a svid to scart cable try powerhouse i got a dam good one with audio as well on ut for £15 bogof . in the box you are supplied with a cable to get you watching dvds but the svid to scart is a must to get the best out of the system . if you need any help on the 303 just e mail me and ill try and help the best i can :smokin:

i think the supplied cable that is in the pack is of good quality . its not the cheap thin stuff like a lot of sets have :smokin:
