Question:
I would like to get a Dvd recorder sometime when it comes down in price in a couple of years. I just wonder if you can set the timer to record and select other channels. I hope this if not will be in future models.

You can set the DVD Recorder timer to
record and switch between terrestrial
channels or an av input - but so far
there is no satellite control - so it
cannot switch sky channels...

the latest Philips recorders have a slave mode for Sky Digital. If you use the digibox timer, it will switch the recorder on automatically.
