I have a JVC tv which has 3 main screen modes
FULL
Panaromic
Regular
I understand Regular is for 4:3 non wodescreen programs, but what if I am watching DVDS which are of ratios 1.85:1 or 2.35:1 or 16:9??? What size is it best to eatch it on??? Full or Panaromic???

most likely you'd use FULL with anamorphic discs, and use Panoramic mode with widescreen films which aren't anamporhic, so you can zoom them in to fill the screen.
