Question:
This is a very cheap £99 5 speaker system from Currys. Decoder is in the sub-woofer. Bearing in mind its cheapness how good or bad is this system? Not for me honest!

I was in Currys today and spotted this. I think it is a fantastic bargain and ordered one. Spec is roughly -
6 speaker system (decent size and great sound)
Built in Dolby Digital 5.1 and pro logic decoder
Remote control
DTS
It even looks good. I bought one for hooking to my DVD player but it would be the dogs for PS2 or Xbox.
My player and surround sound is Acoustic Solutions. They are very good value and also very good BRITISH quality. Never had a problem with them at all.
They are also extremely helpful. A stand was missing from one of my speakers and rather than take it back to the shop (as it was ther last one) Acoustic solutions posted one to me free (bear in mind these are like a disc of lead!).
My surround sound sounds exactly the same as a mate's Mission and Toshiba setup, yet cost over £100 less.
I am very happy with their quality, price and service.
Me' folks recently bought one and to be honest, it sounds better than my Videologic setup, which cost £200 more.
