In the cheap Multi region thread, we got talking bout the Arianet DVD player. Well I needed to know more so I have finally found out the full details!

I got a Panasonic RV60 anyways...what's it like goof?
Boy, I've got a real gripe with Aria now and will shortly be posting in suppliers :mad:
In short things like tray mechanism, the blue light, crappy remote etc don't bother me. So if that's the forgivable things guess what the rest's like? :eek:
Sever skipping on some R2 discs, large white line appears at top of screen (I'm talking an inch thick on a 28" screen) when switching to progressive mode, screen may randomly shift 30% upwards on your TV when switching to progressive mode (and refuse to go back), DD5.1 output didn't work and last but not least the VGA output was totally unwatchable as brightness was through the roof.
I'd heard Aria were bad but after initiating returns (I included a list of faults) they told me nothing was wrong with it :mad: They also lied, saying they had replied to emails when they hadn't :mad:
So, as if you couldn't guess, I wouldn't recommend the company or the player!
