Question:
I have used a hack on the above machine and it will play any region I like now. BUT, it is obviously repeating frames cos I get a "judder", especially in horizontal pans.
I know my TV supports 60mzh as I had a dreamcast that used it. I cannot find anywhere on the unit to set to PAL60 output or anything like that. I am using a good scart cable too. It obviously plays region 2 fine but I have tried region 9, region 1 and region 3 and get this frame judder/stutter effect - which I think makes them unwatchable.
Does anyone know how to sort this player out so that it converts correctly or output at correct refresh rate?

Presumably, if you've just used a hack, it's an R1 NTSC disc you're having probs with?
Does your TV support NTSC?

I've tried region 9 and region 3 so far and get the same on both. I'm not sure if the TV supports NTSC as it's quite old. I know it supports 60mzh output as the old Dreamcast had some games that gave you the option and I always selected them due to faster updates.
