Question:
My niece has just pushed in the tweeter on one of my speakers so that it was concave rather than convex (even though I had the cover on). I've managed to pull it back out (using a piece of sellotape) but is she likely to have done any serious damage (what's hiding behind the dome)?
TIA

A small coil.Chances are it'll be ok.
You've done the right thing. As long as the cone is not broken/cracked there shouldn't be a problem. I had a similar problem a few years ago and they've be fine.
That's reassuring. Thanks for the replies.
TIA
