Question:
Just after some advice on an all in one home cinema, budget upto £500. Techtronics has been slated on here so just after any advicve on best model and best place to buy from.
Its for a complete non techie person so its gonna be friendly - hence the all in one option. Any advice much appreciated. Cheers.
Can only offer the advice on the system I've got. Sony DAVS500, bought fro £350 from Richer Sounds. Bought in the shop, and not 'on-line' as always out of stock. For a starter, it certainly does the business. Didn't want to go down the separates route first time out, and am more than pleased with it. Friends who have been round also think it's top's, but then none of us have any great knowledge of the AV world. Those who swear by separates, will say it's crap, for someone starting out, I'm glad I made the purchase.
Cheers Midge, I was looking at the Sony for him. I llike the look of the Dav-S00 but i need to convince him to pay £563 which is what Dixons are currently doing it for. Ill take a look at richer sounds, Cheers :)
