Question:
Arghh my tosh dvd players died, well sorta!
The display has stopped working on my toshiba sd210e, any ideas how to fix it? i really dont want to shell out for another 1!!
Does it still play, FWD, etc properly?
yeah still works as per normal just no flippin display
You're probably going to have to send it to a repair place to get it done - can't imagine there's any DIY solution.
If you can find a place that will give you a quote first it might help.
Why not send an email to justin@upgradeheaven.co.uk and see if upgradeheaven have come across this problem
Wassap, if it is knacked do you want to sell it as I am looking for spares for a project of keeping mine resurrected.
LMK
Check the ribbon cable is properly seated. IOW, detach and replace it.
Mike.
You haven't turned off the display by mistake, have you..?
Press the dimmer button on the remote see if does the trick
