Question:
Some advice needed please:
I've noticed recently that the audio quality of my system seems to be getting worse. Is it possible for a DVD player to have progressively worse audio output?
I have a 2-year old Wharfedale 750 (3rd generation) and a 6 month old Yamaha VS-10. I seem to recall reading somewhere that the 750 audio output is a bit poor to start with, so do I just need to upgrade my player?

Try cleaning the connectors on the interconnects and speaker wire. It could be oxidisation on the connectors that's causing the signal to degrade.
