Question:
I want to purchase a combined dvd player and home cinema unit, can I use the amp in the dvd player as an amp for my normal tv viewing? ie will programs i watch on sky/terrestial tv be distributed via the sound system:)
Most will have audio inputs (digital and analog). Any particulr model?
I am looking at the sony DAVS400 or DAVS500

i just received a dam well excellent pioneer dcs-303 from HERE (http://www.24-7electrical.co.uk/bin/venda.plex?ex=co_disp-view&invt=pndcs303m&bsref=24-7v2) FOR A GOOD PRICE front speaker stands are in the deal as well .
the sound from the player is fantastic along with the picture quality ,thats second to none :smokin:

DAVS500 is a nice little piece of kit. Just given mine a work out with Blade 2, and it nearly shook the pictures from the walls!
