Question:
I am thinking of getting this for my own budget of £150 at Xmas I was going for Eltax A.10 but reading that this has 10 minute power down or something like that. so i won't go for that. Has anyone got a Mordaunt-Short MSW20? Is it any good with the low bass sound. Thanks
Yup, bought one myself a few months ago - they had it on offer in the store in Sheffield for £99 at the time...
V. good sub - plenty of bass - makes all the things in my front room shake if I put it up too high :)
also the level of finish on it is very good - nice looking and all the dials and swiches on the back feel solid....

I had one, was pretty good although the bass was a bit too boomy for me, might have been to do with placement/room size. Changed it for a MS308 (Premiere) smaller drive (8") but seems much more controlled with tighter bass - even sounds okay with music.
I've found it perfectly suitable - just don't put it too high or it will loosen your bowels.
