Question:
My 5050 for some reason has started randomly deciding to stop accepting commands from the remote.
Sometimes it'll work for 10 mins then just will stop accepting signals - sometimes it'll work longer or not at all. Powering off (standby) for a while gets it working again - but again there seems to be no constant between it's confusion.
i know it's not the remote as it does it with the 5050 remote, my pronto, and my Sky remote.
Any ideas ? it's driving me mental.
While i'm at it - i was playing Halo on the xbox yesterday through the 5050 and it started stuttering then cut out completely - now it won't accept a signal through from the xbox. Any ideas on this too ?
Handily i took out a 3 year warranty at richer - which i can't find :oh-hum:
I have a Kenwood with a similar problem. The remote works to switch it on but after it has wrmed up the remote stops working. It may start working again later on but I have accepted the the remote does not work and I have to get off my backside and press the buttons on the front panel. Its a hard life.
I've found the same problem a couple of times with mine. Solution - take out the batteries in the remote then put them back in. Possibly not the same issue as yours, but works for me.:)
