Asda should have given you a firmware CD that will upgrade your player to deal with VCD's. If they didn't you can download it your self on Nerd-Out (http://www.nerd-out.com/darrenk/1100WB/1100WB.htm) or just go for the new firmware on that site that makes the player region free, macrovision free and enables VCD's.
