Question:
Was in Big W in Belfast today and saw a pile of these players on sale at £79.99 - nothing special. Then I noticed on the box that it allowed JPEG files to be viewed on screen.
Has anyone any knowledge of this player?
Sorry ivanwilson - bet when you looked at your inbox you thought someone had some useful knowledge - I don't, but rather than start a new thread thought I would join in if you don't mind.
My old man spotted this player in The Mail on Sunday (27/10/02) - in an offer to accompany the free Wallace & Gromit DVD. It's £89.99 delivered & he's dropping hints like they're going out of fashion, but then xmas is around the corner - any info much appreciated.
Cheers:)
Check it can play CDR because the 400 model can't.
I don't think there is a multiregionhack for it either . One could become known later though.
The £69 Dansai at Tesco can display jpegs, and has a multiregion hack. There are lots of sub£80 multiregion players about.
The Ferguson 400 model at Argos can't play CDR or DVDr, so that is a very poor buy (that model is £99 in Argos).
