I've owned an all singing, all dancing Kenwood amp for about 9 months now, and can honestly say I have seldom used the Pro-logic 2 mode. Am I missing something here? Wouls appreciate some feedback.
Use PLII on surround sources! It replaces DPL 1 really, just gives a psuedo 5.1 from 2.0.
I find it quite good for use with TV broadcast and DPL sourced DVD's (e.g. TV shows)
As said above really, just use it instead of DPL1 on any 2.0 source. The only meaningful difference between DPL1 and 2 is that the rears are stereo, but to be honest I can't honestly say I've noticed much difference between DPL1 and 2.
