Question:
Looking for a good but cheap amp with at least dd5.1 decoder and 6 speaker output
I managed to get hold of the Marantz sr5200 for £340 from richer sounds kingston. Very good amp, got rave reviews in What HiFi? magazine. Dolby Digital 5.1 (emulated EX), DTS 6.1 (emulated), prologic 2 etc. etc. no complaints with it.
I got the Pioneer VSXD510 receiver from Richer Sounds for £100. It's now available for £110 I think - does DD and DTS fine with all the inputs and outputs you could want.

I have Pioneer VSXD511 which is the newer model and has DD and DTS and Prologic 2.Great piece of kit :thumbs:
Payed around £190 from Upgrade Heaven.
