Question:
My sub (Jamo SW410E) has a stereo phono in. This is connected to the sub-out on my amp.
If i want to wire it via high level (ie speaker level) is there anything i can do to get this working?
Is there some sort of box that can convert speaker level input to line level, so i can use the sub on a pro-logic tele. I would run 2 wires from the left/right speakers, one will go the the floorstander speaker and the other to some sort of convertor, which will plug into the sub.

Dunno about boxes to do the job (I'm sure somebody will post if there's something out there), but if you're handy with a soldering iron, it's a piece of cake.
What would I need?
Also would probably wire it up to a normal stereo as well sometimes.
Any links/instructions?
Sorry for the delay. Long weekend, then I lost the thread ;)
Couple of q's first:
1. When you say your sub's fed from a stereo phono - do you mean a left & right stereo pair (2 phonos) or a single (mono) phono?
2. What's the input impedance of the line level input(s) on your sub?
Stereo but the amp is mono.
I use a single phono then it connects to a Y lead to go to a stereo input.
input impedance - no idea! :)
there is an adapter out there that can do this for you my old kenwood sub only had the phono out but it also came with an adapter which alowed you to connect the low level out put to speaker input but i didnt need it as my amp had a low level input so i binned it.
you can get them though dont know where though
I think my sub should have had one but bought it ex-display so didnt have all the bits, and TBH it is not essential, but would be nice.
I've sent you an email, coz I can't put a graphic in my reply!
