Question:
Because I need 1, Sonel say they will be releasing one in 2002 but its said that for AGES. Surely they must exist? If so, can any guide me to where I can buy one.
Cheers:thumbs:
I'm fairly sure that places like Lektropaks sell them. They advertise in magazines like What Video & TV or Home Cinema Choice. I've searched the Net, but they don't seem to have a website.
Yes, they exist, and yes, Lektropacks sell them. They cost between just under £300 and £3000 depending on the quality you require. www.lektropacks.co.uk
If your purpose is to 'back up' NTSC DVDs onto VHS, the cheapest option is to buy a DVD player with this conversion on board. It is most often found on cheapo chinese players of various brands (such as the Dansai 852 which Tesco used to sell).
No i don't need it to back up DVD's, i need it because my (non multi region ) Toshiba SD110 only outputs (R2) NTSC to PAL 60 and my T.V only accepts PAL 50, and it only has 1 scart which is non RGB. Its only a couple of wrestling dvd's i have. So i suppose I will just have to continue to move the player downstairs when I watch them, its not that much of a bother because i don't watch them very often but i was going to get my player multi regioned if i could get one of these converters but it's pointless now cause they will only be in black and white on my t.v. There's no way i'm spending that much on a converter. Thanks for the help anyway.

Sounds like a new TV is in order, then.
