DVD player upgrade advice
Question:

Looking to upgrade my Wharfedale DVD-750S.
Have about £300-350 to spend.
I know the Pioneer 656 is flavour of the month, but I'm really not interested in DVD-A and SACD.
What it must have:
Multi region
MP3 decoding
RGB out (a given these days)
NTSC out
Good with audio CDs
Good build quality
Fast operating system (Wharfedale is S-L-O-W !).
Would also like (but not vital) :
Component video out
Prog scan (is this realistic at this price ?).
Apart from the Tosh 220E (which is well within my budget), what would you lot recommend I audition ?

I wouldn`t rule out the DV656A just because you don`t want SACD or DVD-A - its always handy to have them just in case they get more popular later;)
Anyway, as the Sd220 doesn`t have prog scan, and you mention you`d like it, heres a couple that do have it well within your budget:
Harman kardon DVD25
Marantz DV4300
Both are under £400 (the marantz is under £300).
Hope this helps
