That all depends on the plasma you go for. Consumer model or cheaper presentation version - differences other then price are different video cards on the units, meaning one can accept a tuner and scarts, the other is BNC or Dsync usually. You need to get a model number to make sure what it has, and what card options are available.
The one I am after is Panasonic TH42PW4B
Try Joe Fernand at The Media Factory: http://www.tmfsolutions.co.uk/homecinema_plasma_panasonic.htm
TH-42PWD4BX - 42", 16:9, VGA, 3000:1 contrast for home cinema solutions - £3,504.62 (Incl vat)*
TH-37PWD4BX - 37", 16:9, VGA, 3000:1 contrast for home cinema solutions - £3,395.88 (Incl vat)**
* These prices include the TY-42TM4YB BNC video board.
** This prices includes the TY-37TM4ZB RCA video board.
Forgot to say that he can sort you out with quality cables too.
Is it possible to connect a Scart/Component cable from my DVD player to the plasma screen
