Question:
How do i connect my speakers, this is what i think!!
satellites rear, front and centre into amplifier.
on the back of the sub, there are speaker wire inputs and outputs, do i connect from my amplifier to the sub, and how.
do i use the spare cable from what is left over???
cables i had
front right
front left
centre
rear right
rear left
some sort of phono cable, black lead with phono plug either end?
normally yea you go into the amplifer (everything seems to go into that including a water supply:lol: )
but with these sat systems, the sub is the amplifer so they go into that and the sub then connects to your source.
although the manual should help...if not got one then try the manu site for a pdf version
That black cable is used to connect your Sub to your amp
Connect the sub to the amp's sub output using "some sort of phono cable, black lead with phono plug either end"
Connect the speakers to the relevant speaker terminals on the amp using "cables i had
front right
front left
centre
rear right
rear left"
Have you read the manual..?
got that sorted now.
on the back of the amp there is positive and negative red and black knobs with holes in the centre of them, tried putting cable into holes but it doesn't secure. do I unscrew and attach the speaker cable to the back of the nobs and then tighten. (on the manual it looks like it is going in through the hole in the middle?!)

Manual?
Thats the paper thing you look at after pestering people on the internet isn't it?
Not everyone is as fantastically intelligent as us remember. :D
They've probably got banana plugs or pins connected to the cables in the manual.
Just slacken the knobs, shove the wire in and tighten...
/*sigh* it's gonna be a long night....
i want to be right first time, don't wanna cock things up, let's do the job probably. ;)
