Question:
I'm expecting my Toshiba 42PW23P to arrive in the next few hours and I'd be very grateful if anyone with this set or a similar Toshiba back projection TV could let me know their picture settings, mainly so I can be sure of avoiding screen burn. Cheers :)
I'm getting one soon so I took a note of this from a previous thread:
Contras: 38
Brightness: 34
Colour: 38
Tint: – 15
Sharpness: – 20
NR – Off

Thanks Dan! They delivered it with the contrast set to 100 and the other settings way high so I've fixed that. Picture looks amazing. Unfortunately there's a small but noticable black spot on the screen and a dent at the bottom right edge which, I think, is letting insects in, so I'm waiting for an engineer to come out. The company said if it needs to go back for repair, they'll just give me a new one. Great TV otherwise.
