Question:
I have been given an old Philips televideo (14"-but its better than the old Amstrad crap we used to have!) and I wanted to watch DVD's on via my Aiwa DVD/stereo plugged intothe scart in the back. Obviously it being a televideo, it flickers whenever you play a film this way (probably due to the copy protection or something). Does anyone know a way to get round this?
Any help is much apprieciated.
Sounds like Macrovision, which as you suspected is copy protection..
With the kit you have I don't think it's going to be possible to have it disabled..
Thanks. Its just as I thought then. Looks like I will have to invest in a new tv. Which goes against my better nature of being a tight *******!
Or (heaven forbid) watch them through my PS2 connected by an old RF cable.....
Stuff it, I'll watch them on the big tv downstairs!;)
