I've managed to find a big telly for much less than I expected to pay so I thought I'd spend some of the money I had left over on a DD 5.1 sound system. I just wondered, should I worry about whether it'll be compatible with my American Panasonic DVD player?
As long as the DVD player has either an optical or coaxial digital output (whichever the 5.1 system requires) then you will be fine.
