Just curious if anyone here has rented my multiregion upgrade remotes for the new Sony , Pioneer or Panasonic dvd players ?
Any Comments if you have ?

no it's not possible for 725
Is there an upgrade remote for the Toshiba SD110?
no you have to rent the internal tool for this tosh player , it involves opening the cover , attaching the tool , switching the player on then off again and then remving the tool .... because it involves removing the cover you should be "qualified" to do so
Do you rent out this tool? if so how much? Is it a hard job? If something goes wrong could it make my player duff? Also, as its a no solder mod how do you attach it to the player? (Look at my vast knowledge of DVD chipping!:rolleyes: )

The tool cannot make the player duff but YOU can I suppose by doing something wrong.

Thanks for the info but i think i will pass. I thought it might be £20-£25 to rent the tool cause thats how much the solder upgrade kit costs to buy.
the solderless tools are more expensive that the chips that must be soldered in , typically the solder in chips are around £20 and the solderless upgrades between £40 and £50 - for obvious reasons

as Justin says the DAVS300 cannot be done by any other means than chipping

All my Sony remotes are now out on loan and yet no-one from here has rented one ?
