Question:
I have a small portable 14" TV and want to know if its possible to connect a mid range or low range dvd player to it?
Thanks for any info.
you can either loop it thru a video via scart and then RF aerial lead or get an RF modulator to convert the signal,
I have a lektropak catalogue somewhere with a few converters in it to do this job,,I'll dig it out and get back to you.
the only way you get it to play thru the video is if the dvd player is macrodisabled

I know everyone else has advised on this, but I have to ask, why?!?
You`ll lose quality, and is it really worth bothering with a DVD player on a screen this size? Change the TV even if its only to a little 18/24" widescreen, or a 21" 4:3 with the player set to letterbox

I played my dvd player through my video for 3 years. Only went horrid cos of macrovision if i pressed the record button.
I think there's a bush dvd player in the gratan catalogue which does RF out and scart out.
Regards,
Craig.

If he already has a DVD player and DVDs, and also has a spare budget player and 14" TV lying around it is a cheap way of watching DVDs in another room (e.g. his bedroom rather than the family room). Investing in a larger TV would make this better but for no expenditure a DVD player attached to a portable TV in a second room is better than just a TV. :)

OK,,found it,,lektropacks www.lektropacks.co.uk have a scart-RF converter box that will do this for you. It's £49.00 though. Go to their website and order the new Catalogue or call them on 0208 560 8050). It's on Page 10. Order code CVS-5. They have lots of other good quality stuff and are very reliable. :notworthy
Thanks for any info.
