Question:
Just picked up a cheap Denon from John Lewis (thanks to a rather amusing Richer Sounds Price Match) its a DM-50 with the little mission speakers. It sounds pretty nice, but I get the impression this thing can sound better as it always gets awesome reviews for the sound quality. Any tips? Can anyone recommend some interconnects, and speaker positioning tips.

Any dealer I've spoken to always commented that the supplied speakers are not so hot so maybe you'd be better investing in something like B&Ws 600 series?
