Does anybody can help me to explain me it is possible to change the regional code on this dvd. My friend brought it from USA in Italy, I spoked with office in Taiwan , they told me that is not possible! It is marked only for reg. code 1. In this case for me is not possible to look the Europe CD's
Help me please

This was pulled off the Lasonic uk site for the 'DVD2000'. It may work for your machine, but the pal/ntsc issue may be a stumbling block. PAL region 2 may still not work. Good luck

This is for the 2100 so probably won't work
Press the Open/Close button on your remote control
2. Press the VOL+ button on your remote control
3. Press the VOL- button on your remote control
4. Press the VOL+ button on your remote control
5. Press the VOL- button on your remote control
6. The onscreen display should show "VER #"
7. Using the left and right cursor keys, change the region code to 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on
8. Press the Open/Close button on your remote control



Thank you dtsrules but this one is going well for Lasonic 1100, that I personaly tried on DVD of my friend, but not for 1300!
It is possible that is trouth what they answer me from the Lasonic factory from Taiwan that they loocked tha regional code in factory and it's not possible to change them ???



Try this:
Open the drawer
Press 1, 1, 1
Press the number of the region you want
Close the drawer
Watch the disc!
That works on our Lasonic, but I can't remember its model no.. Give it a try anyway :)
