Question:
I'm considering getting an ITV Digital box for the free to air channels.
My question is would I be able to tune the channels individually on the TV or would it be like Sky Digital where you select one channel on your TV for it or via the scart socket and the channel selection is done via the setop box?
I'm afraid it's just like Sky. You can't record one digital channel and watch another.
I got ITV Digital and Sky Digital.
So ITV basically have Free channels like ITV2, BBC24 News, BBC4, BBC Choice, Cbeebies, and another Children Channels. You will get proper widescreen pictures for your widescreen TV assuming the program can support it.
I got Sky Digital and it is a lot better that ITV as it have very good pictures and sound and no problems and a lot more choice. Why not sign up for 10 quids and pay 37 quids for whole package and downgrade to a cheaper selection of sky packages after 31 days. Go for Sky if you can afford it as it probably be better than spending 80 quids on ITV Digital box.
