Question:
Anyone have any links as to the difference on these??
Well 5.1 has stereo from the rears while PL is mono. I'd always go fo 5.1 over PL if given the choice.
5.1 = r00x0r
prologic= teh crap.
5.1 = full bandwidth independant channels for all 5speakers + base channel (.1).
pro logic = matrixed sound.
Center and rear speaker signals are decoded from the main left and right signal, are not discrete and are not full frequency.
No discrete base chanel.
Pologic=II is a much improved decoding technique that gets closer to 5.1 - usefull for all those TV shows or old prologic only films.
IMHO the difference between Prologic and DD5.1 is night and day, even more so with a proper setup.

Games. A small cube of chalk used in rubbing the tip of a billiard or pool cue to increase its friction with the cue ball.

Chiefly British. A score or tally.
cheese Pronunciation Key (chz)
