Is it possible to get it to play cdrs or is it a hardware issue?

i have go the following to work
sirius cdrs
superior cdrs
datasafe cdrs (silver top)

Sadly there's a lot of them that won't work. Vivastars are another one that I've found play ok.



hmmm....i may have to copy all my existing cdrs to a different make cdr! I have been using TDK and just assumed that because these dont work no others will.

BTW why do some cdrs work and not others? what is the difference between them all?



the colour of the dye and the laser your player has also some newer batches of vivistar dont work:)



Ok, I've just tried Datasafe and they don't work, are you sure if i buy any of the others they are gonna work?

You may well be better off saving yourself the hassle and get a budget CD deck as well. The CD performance of a lot of budget DVD players is poor at best.

well you said the datasafe ones would work too, and i still don't understand why some would work and others dont
