Question:
Ok Ive been looking all over the net and I can't find any home cinema screen larger than a 150inch which is sony cineza at a tasty £2000.
I've got one of these babys and just brought £100 s-video cable and wow is it crisp.
Has anyone got or heard of a larger screen you can get for your own home cinema ( not theatre projectors ) :smokin:

I know you cant get a plasma or a rear projection screen that large ( max ive seen is 70 inch I think )
If anyones got any larger please post pics if you can so I can compare the cineza ( picture quality etc etc )

Just got a new receiver and dvd/cd player too :nuts:
Note: Because of the new av equipment my system is basically shoved anywhere at the moment so it wont be laid out correctly.
Come on there must be some1 with at least 150" ??

150 inches - 12.5 feet larger which is bigger than a big snooker table.
I hope you have a house bigger enough for the screen.
I would thought 5 ft screen is bigger enough for 98% of people.
The main reason im asking this is because I want bigger :eek:

You must have a really big room to be able to fill a 150" screen.
What projector are you using and at what distance?
You could try www.avforums.com for more info. www.direkt2u.co.uk has Da-Lite screens but I'm not sure how big they go - mine's only 92" diag (80"x45")

It's a Da-Lite Model B 80" x 45" bought for around £175. Projector is a Sony VW11 fed by an Arcam DV27 FMJ via progressive component.
The projector is ceiling mounted using a Unicol bracket and is about 12.5 feet from the screen. Even with this projector, if you sit any closer, the screen door effect is visible.

Im currently TOTALLY changing my setup hardware wise and room layout including painting, furniture and the like.
Im aiming to get a room like:
