Question:
A mate has just got a new widescreen tv (JVC if I remember correctly) but I've noticed (especially when it's switched off) that a circular pattern seems to be burnt onto the screen.
What could this be and is it normal for this to happen?
All the tv's I've had have never had this problem, and even if they did I would change it for a different one every time. I could not live with that every time I watched it, it would be too distracting.
He doesn't seem to mind.:confused:

I was thinking it might be the firing gun (I think that's what it's called?) which fires the picture onto the screen?
