Hi,
Could someone please recommend me (so I can tell my friend what to get!) a player which is Macrovision free and Multiregion.
He wants to spend £150 to £200 on his first player and it has to go through his VCR. I recommended the Pioneer 454 or Toshiba 220 with Multiregion chips from Richer Sounds or HomeCinemaHeaven etc, but apparently even that doesn't remove the Macrovision.

If you have £200 to spend get a decentish player for £170 and buy a macrovision remover from www.sonel.com for £30.
