Question:
i have been looking round at packages, does anyone know of good deals for less than £300. looking for AV receiver, sub and 5 speakers. i have seen cheap ones at £199, ie thomson at comet, but are these cheaper makes as good as perhaps yamaha, pioneer, sony etc.
i all ready have the pioneer 444 dvd player
Have you considered the Acoustic Energy P5? It was posted on the Bargain Forum last week for £460.
A bit above your budget but it got 5 stars in What Hi-Fi recently and looks (and sounds) great. The review rated it as the best discrete speaker package available.
