Question:
Guys and Gals,
Anyone out there recommend a 32" widescreen set?
And is 100Hz Tv really worth the extra money?
Thanks
Paul
All I can say in my View is Buy a Sony, Panasonic or Toshiba :)
:)
Ok to rephrase the question, are there any specific models of Sony, Panasonic or Toshiba to Avoid???!!! :)
Paul
I would say have you checked out the Loewe range and don't discount Philips. Also 100hz is well worth it and becoming standard on 32" anyway.
Philips 50Hz 32PW6006,£500 without stand.Won What Video TV group test, reviewed on their site.
looks good, but only 50Hz tho...
Paul, I have a 100hz Panasonic 32" TV and everyone that sees the picture (even me) comments on the quality. And the more recent models are even better. 100hz is definitely worth getting. There are a lot of prices (high) to find these at !! Take your time. The (current) summer months often throw up some great deals.

I think you should look at www.homecinemachoice.com to find review of TV and look at www.empiredirect.co.uk for better bargains in TV. T3 and Home Cinema Choice magazine have regular reviews of 32 inches TV.
Some shop like TGS in West Midlands would allow you to use your TV for part exchange.
If it down to me I would gone for a panasonic TV
I can highly recommend the Sony KV32LS60. Excellent with Sky and DVD, none of the usual Sony problems like Geometry and scrolling bars.
I believe you should be able to price match with allders for about £1000 with some Websites.

When ever I see a 100mhz set the picture looks smudged. Am I the only one who sees that ?
Poorly set-up unit?
I've got a 100Hz Sony 28" and it's far from smudged...
If you want out and out quality go for a Loewe set.
I am blown away by my new set.
