Anyone got a NAD C350??
Question:

My Pioneer A400 has finally died:sad: Enjoyed NAD stuff many years back and this seems to get some good reviews. I'll demo, of course, but e-pinions welcomed...:)

Answers:

I got the 370 - and it's a stunning amp!
The power ratings given by NAD are deceiving - I think that they actually give accurate figures where others beef theirs up, so NAD amps always seem to be listed with less power than their counterparts.
I've got mine driving a pair of B&W DM603's and I'm feeding the AV amp output into the video in order to keep a clear signal path for music. But it is worth noting that you can detach the pre-amp section on the NAD amps and essentially convert it to a power amp, driving everything through the AV amp.
The second option is less hassle, as you don't have to set the NAD's volume at 12 o'clock when you want to watch movies (with the risk that you'll forget to switch it back when you go to CD  ). I did find that this coloured the sound slightly though.
As far as the sound goes - I think that NAD give a more rich sound than many amps, but this could be psycho-acoustic, as it was what I was expecting to be honest ;)
