Question:
Was considering one last year and never bought one and am thinking again. There were several place that sell them but I cannot remeber any of their names. Anyone know of any really good models? and good places to get it
I'm gonna get this (http://www.techtronics.com/uk/shop/863-toshiba-43vj13p-rear-projection-tv.html) soon anyway..

Think you`d be better posting this in the Suppliers Forum

I know this is not the Supplier forum..but tell me your story.
Been following discussions regarding W/S vs 4:3 sets and screen sizes.
Can someone check my maths - I worked out that this 43" 4:3 set gives a W/S image equivalent to a 39.5" W/S set. This is larger than I expected but I could have made a mistake...
Yeah 39" is correct..
I've been looking at the 40" widescreens but I think this is probably better for me.
Means I can still watch all my videos in 4:3 and also get a bigger picture for my PS2.
Just got to convince the missus now...
Masanerve - Considering where you work, shouldn't you know all the ins & outs of RPTVs already..?
Got one of the Toshiba 43" TVs a few months ago (4:3 ratio) and I must say it is absolutely awesome.
Widescreen images are still large enough to look cinematic, with the added bonus that 4:3 images (e.g Farscape, Reboot and Roughnecks DVDs ) look just incredible.
I played the full screen version of A Bug's Life and my jaw nearly hit the floor at the clarity of picture and richness of colour.
Def. the best piece of home entertainment kit I've ever bought.
and now the best price for this product please?:)
re. techtronics - type it into google - you'll be glad you did!
