Question:
My Phillips 28" Widescreen TV has started to play up recently, the picture has a red tinge to it for a while then just goes away, i have checked all the connections and this happens when i am watching teresterial, Sky, video or DVD.
Could this be the start of the tube on its way out ?
Anone have any suggestions at all ?
(Could this be an good excuse to tell the missus we should get a new 32" )

I had a problem with a blue tinge on my Sony TV. It turned out that when one of the cats went down the back of the TV it was knocking the Scart cable and when it went back the other way it knocked it backhence the reason it was an intermitant problem! So check that your scart is in properly and try swapping it for a new one (its cheaper than a new TV!).
Alternatively do you turn the TV off on the main switch? it could be the tube needs to de-gause (sp? and don't ask me as to what this means I just read it somewhere - probably on the forums!).
The scart cable's are fine like i said b4 it will be like it on all channels, it could be the tube on its way out maybe.
