Dear all,
I would like some advice from some experienced Masters please.
I had distance attunements for Reiki 1st, 2nd Degree & Master. I learned Reiki online, from the Masters manuals by her Reiki forum and by practicing on myself, family and friends.
A while later I thought that I was missing out on something so I decided to book on a face to face Reiki 2 course with a local Master. I dont think I gained much from this course.
I would like to teach Reiki although do not know if it is ethical to do so if I have had attunements and training for Master level distantly.
What do you think?

I think you've answered your own question.
My attunements were wonderful sacred, ritual, experiences. Ask around and find another master, who someone recommends. Which area do you live in by the way?

There is no difference between hands on and remote attunements/empowerments in energy work, I do both and have received both they both work and are equally effective, assuming the information and support that backed up the attunements was good then you have nothing to feel negative about.
As long as you know the system well that you are going to teach and can give a little more than a reading of the manual i.e practical instructions then go for it for you won't know until you try, you can always give a few away to get the feel for it :-)

Thanks for the reply. I may have found someone to be my Reiki mentor :-)
I have joined a Reiki share group and I am now teaching my husband and father Reiki. I feel much more positive about things.
